Research grant worth around £2000 from the University Grants Commission, Bangladesh in 2007 for a research project entitled ‘Landfill Site Selection in Dhaka using Spatial Multi Criteria Evaluation Techniques' (declined due to attend the PhD programme).Received the certificate of appreciation from the Regional Development Council, Republic of the Philippines in order to provide expert services on Boundary Conflict Resolution.
